Joseph Orgeron

Joseph Orgeron is an American politician serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 54th district. He assumed office in July 2020 following a special election to succeed the late Reggie Bagala. Orgeron holds a bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University, as well as a master's degree and a doctorate in physics from the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition to his legislative duties, he works as an adjunct professor in maritime management at Nicholls State University. He resides in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, with his wife and three daughters.
