Josh Kimbrell

Josh Kimbrell is an American politician and current member of the South Carolina Senate, representing the 11th District since 2020. Before his election to the state senate, he worked as an aviation leasing operator and a Christian talk radio host. Kimbrell is known for his conservative legislative agenda, including efforts to allow mental health professionals to refuse care based on religious beliefs and proposals to restrict access to certain books in public libraries. He briefly campaigned for governor in 2026 before suspending his bid in June of that year.
