Joyce Moriku is a Ugandan politician, academic, and pediatrician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Moyo District Women's Representative in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. In addition to her legislative duties, she has served as the State Minister for Primary Education since 2021, having previously held the position of State Minister for Primary Health Care. Before entering politics, Dr. Moriku had a distinguished medical career, working as a consultant pediatrician and lecturer at Gulu University, and holding various roles in public health organizations including The AIDS Support Organisation.
