Juan Luis Steegmann Olmedillas

Juan Luis Steegmann Olmedillas is a Spanish scientist, physician, and former politician. Born in Madrid in 1955, he established a distinguished career in hematology, serving as a director of the European LeukemiaNet research group and the GELMC group of the Spanish Society of Hematology. He entered politics later in life, representing the Vox party in the Congress of Deputies from 2019 to 2023, where he served as the party's spokesman on healthcare matters.
