Juanita Nathan is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Pickering—Brooklin, following her election in the 2025 Canadian federal election. Of Tamil Canadian heritage, she previously served as a city councillor for Markham from 2022 to 2025 and was a long-standing trustee and chair of the York Region District School Board. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University and a Master of Arts in Tamil Literature and Linguistics from Anamalai University. Throughout her career, she has been active in municipal governance and education policy before transitioning to federal politics.
