Julia Hamburg

Julia Willie Hamburg is a German politician and member of the Alliance 90/The Greens party. Since November 2022, she has served as the Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs of Lower Saxony and as the Deputy Minister-President of the state. A member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony since 2013, she previously held the position of parliamentary group leader and opposition leader from 2020 to 2022. Her political career began in the Green Youth, and she has focused on education reform and workforce development.
