Julian Ivey is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 47A in Prince George's County. Born in 1995, Ivey began his career in public service on the Cheverly town council before his election to the state legislature in 2018. A self-described progressive, he has focused his legislative efforts on criminal justice reform, including advocating for police body-worn cameras and special legislative sessions on police brutality. He also served as the campaign manager for his father, U.S. Representative Glenn Ivey, and has held leadership roles within the Maryland House, including Deputy Majority Whip.
