Juliana Shonza

Juliana Daniel Shonza is a Tanzanian politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly, representing women through special seats. Born in the Songwe Region, she holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Dodoma. Shonza began her political career as a student activist with Chadema before joining the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party in 2013. She previously served as the Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports from 2017 to 2020.
