Julio Scherer Pareyón is a Mexican politician and industrial engineer currently serving as a federal deputy in the LXVI Legislature of the Mexican Congress, representing the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM). Before entering politics, he worked in investment banking and the real estate sector. He previously participated in the campaign teams for Héctor Vasconcelos and Andrés Manuel López Obrador. In 2025, he became the subject of a corruption investigation regarding a highway concession in Sonora, allegations which he has denied.
