Jumaa Aweso

Jumaa Aweso is a Tanzanian politician and member of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi party who has served as a Member of Parliament for Pangani Constituency since 2015. Educated at the University of Dar es Salaam with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, he entered politics and held various youth and regional party leadership positions. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Water and Irrigation before being promoted to Minister for Water and Irrigation in 2020.
