星野順一郎

Junichiro Hoshino is a Japanese politician and dentist currently serving his fifth term as the Mayor of Abiko City in Chiba Prefecture. Born in 1957 in Nakazato, Abiko, he graduated from the Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo. Before entering politics, he held leadership roles in local professional and civic organizations, including serving as the chairman of the Abiko City Dental Association and the Abiko City Junior Chamber. First elected as mayor in 2007, he has since secured re-election multiple times, most recently winning a fifth term unopposed in 2023.
