Kalanidhi Veeraswamy

Kalanidhi Veeraswamy is an Indian politician and medical doctor who serves as a Member of the Lok Sabha, representing the Chennai North constituency in Tamil Nadu. A member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), he was first elected to the lower house of the Parliament of India in the 2019 general election. Before entering politics, he practiced as a plastic surgeon. He is the son of Arcot N. Veeraswami, a prominent former minister in the Tamil Nadu state government, and continues to be an active representative for his constituency.
