Kamal Nath is an Indian politician and a senior member of the Indian National Congress who currently serves as a Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He previously held the office of the 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh from 2018 to 2020 and served as the Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly until 2022. A long-time parliamentarian, he was elected nine times to the Lok Sabha and held several Union Cabinet portfolios, including Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of Urban Development. Known for his focus on economic development and infrastructure, he has been a prominent figure in Indian politics for over four decades.
