Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha

Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha is an Indian politician from Assam who serves as a Member of the Assam Legislative Assembly representing the Katigorah constituency. He began his political career as a student leader with the NSUI before serving multiple terms as an MLA for Karimganj North under the Indian National Congress. After previously holding leadership roles within the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, he transitioned his political allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party and won election from Katigorah.
