Kanter Breuker

Kanter Breuker is a Dutch politician and legal expert who has served as the Mayor of Tietjerksteradeel since January 14, 2026. Before entering public office, he had a long career as a notary, specializing in corporate law and working for various firms in Amsterdam and Leeuwarden. He also served as a lecturer for the professional notary training program and held several supervisory and board positions in non-profit and educational organizations. Breuker is non-partisan and was appointed to his current mayoral position following a recommendation by the municipal council.
