Karla Ruiz MacFarland

Karla Ruiz MacFarland is a Mexican politician who served as the 28th Municipal President of Tijuana, becoming the first woman to hold the office. A member of the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA), she previously served as the Secretary of Municipal Education for Tijuana. Before her political career, she worked in marketing and media, including roles at TV Azteca and PSN, and founded the newspaper El Foro de Baja California. She is the daughter of Guillermo Ruiz Hernández, the Attorney General of Baja California.
