Kathryn Mary Pinnock, Baroness Pinnock is a British Liberal Democrat politician and life peer who has served in the House of Lords since 2014. Before entering national politics, she had a long career in local government, serving as a councillor for Cleckheaton on the Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council starting in 1987 and becoming the first female leader of the council from 2000 to 2006. A former secondary school teacher, she has held various shadow ministerial roles for the Liberal Democrats and currently serves as the deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords.
