First elected in 2015 to represent Calgary-Buffalo, she served as the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General under the government of Rachel Notley. Before entering politics, she worked as a lawyer specializing in labour and employment law and served as a provincial court clerk. Ganley holds degrees in psychology, philosophy, and law from the University of Calgary.
