Katie White is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Leeds North West since 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the seat. In 2025, she was appointed as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Energy, Security and Net Zero. Before entering Parliament, she had an extensive career in climate advocacy, working with organizations such as Friends of the Earth, One.org, and WWF. For her significant contributions to climate change engagement, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2013.
