Katja Mitteldorf

Katja Mitteldorf is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Thuringia. Born in Magdeburg, she studied American studies and theater at the University of Leipzig. Before her full-time political career, she worked as a freelance actress and language and culture trainer. Since 2006, she has been a member of The Left party and has served on the Nordhausen city council since 2014. In the state parliament, she focuses on cultural policy, religious issues, and the reappraisal of GDR history.
