Katrin Lange is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Brandenburg. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), she has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Finance and for Europe from 2019 to 2024, and Minister of the Interior and for Municipalities in 2025. Before her ministerial career, she served as a state secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Planning. Lange began her career in public administration, working in various municipal roles in the Prignitz region. She continues to serve as a member of the Brandenburg state parliament.
