Katumba Wamala

Edward Katumba Wamala is a Ugandan military officer and politician serving as the Minister of Public Service in the Ugandan cabinet. He has previously held prominent military and government positions, including Minister of State for Works, Chief of Defence Forces, Commander of the UPDF Land Forces, and Inspector General of the Uganda Police Force. In June 2021, he survived an assassination attempt in Kampala that tragically claimed the lives of his daughter and driver.
