Katy Walther is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in 1974, she studied German language and literature, media studies, and art history at the Philipps-University Marburg. Before entering state politics, she worked as a journalist, editor, and PR consultant. Walther has served as a city councilor in Obertshausen since 2016 and was first elected to the Hessian state parliament in 2019, where she focuses on digital policy, data protection, economics, and energy.
