浅尾慶一郎

Keiichiro Asao is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors. A graduate of the University of Tokyo and Stanford University, he began his career at the Industrial Bank of Japan before entering politics. Throughout his career, he has served in both the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors, holding significant roles including Minister of the Environment, Minister of State for Nuclear Emergency Preparedness, and Chair of the House of Councillors Committee on Rules and Administration. Asao has been associated with several parties, including the Democratic Party and Your Party, before joining the Liberal Democratic Party.
