Keiji Shinozaki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ube City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Born in 1981, he graduated from Hiroshima University before working in management consulting and as a secretary to a member of the House of Councillors. He served as a member of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly for three terms starting in 2014. In 2020, he was elected as the youngest mayor in Ube's history at age 39 and was re-elected in 2024. His policy focus includes industrial development, job creation, and social inclusivity, notably introducing a partnership oath system for same-sex couples in 2021.
