Kendra Coombes is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia for the electoral district of Cape Breton Centre-Whitney Pier. First elected in a 2020 by-election and subsequently re-elected in 2021 and 2024, she is a member of the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party. As of 2025, she serves as the Official Opposition critic for Municipal Affairs, Public Works, the Office of Service Efficiency, and Military Relations, while also holding the position of New Democrat Deputy House Leader. Prior to her provincial legislative career, she served on the Cape Breton Regional Council starting in 2016.
