Kerri Evelyn Harris

Kerri Evelyn Harris is an American politician and activist currently serving as a member of the Delaware House of Representatives for the 32nd district. A veteran of the United States Air Force, she gained national attention in 2018 for her progressive primary challenge against incumbent U.S. Senator Tom Carper. Harris advocates for policies such as Medicare for All, universal pre-K, and criminal justice reform. In 2023, she was elected as the majority whip for the Democrats in the Delaware House of Representatives.
