Khaleel Anderson is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 31st district since 2020. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens, he graduated from Queens College with a degree in Urban Studies. Before his election, he was active in local community governance, including service on Queens Community Board 14 and the NAACP. Upon his election, Anderson became the youngest member of the Assembly in two decades and the youngest Black member in the body's history.
