Kins Nelson

Kins Nelson is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Polonnaruwa District. Born on October 29, 1973, he is the son of former government minister H. G. P. Nelson. Before his election to the national parliament in 2020 as a candidate for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya alliance, he served as a member of the North Central Provincial Council. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various political shifts, including a notable defection to the government in 2014 to support the United People's Freedom Alliance.
