橋本欣也

Kinya Hashimoto is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Isa City in Kagoshima Prefecture. Born in 1964, he began his professional career with the Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1983. He later joined the Isa City government, where he served in various administrative roles, including as the head of the Social Education Division of the Isa City Board of Education. Hashimoto was first elected mayor in November 2020 and was re-elected for a second term in November 2024. He is known for his commitment to municipal reform and local development.
