Kirk Haston is an American politician and former professional basketball player serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 72nd district since 2019. Before entering politics, he played collegiate basketball at Indiana University and was drafted into the NBA in 2001, later playing for the Charlotte Hornets and in the NBA D-League. He also served as a high school basketball coach at Perry County High School. In the legislature, he has served as Vice Chairman of the House Education Committee and is a member of the Republican Party.
