Nobuchiyo Kishi is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in the United States, he is the son of former Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi and a descendant of several prominent political figures, including former Prime Ministers Nobusuke Kishi and Eisaku Sato. Before entering politics, he worked as a reporter for Fuji Television. He was first elected to the Diet in a 2023 by-election representing Yamaguchi's 2nd district. Kishi has served as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Digital Affairs and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office. He emphasizes the importance of regional development and carrying on the political legacy of his family.
