Klaus Wiener

Klaus Wiener is a German economist and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Mettmann I constituency. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 2005, he currently serves on the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection. Prior to his parliamentary career, Wiener held various professional roles as an economist for the German Insurance Association, Generali, WestLB, and Commerzbank. In addition to his legislative duties, he has served on the Board of Trustees for the Nuclear Waste Disposal Fund since 2022.
