Kristi Pursell

Kristi Pursell is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 58A since 2023. Born in Rochester, Minnesota, she holds a bachelor's degree in English and environmental studies from St. Olaf College and a graduate certificate in environmental education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Before her election, she served as the executive director of Clean River Partners and held leadership roles in various grassroots environmental organizations. In the legislature, Pursell has focused on environmental policy, including efforts to restore citizen oversight to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and has advocated for significant state investment in rural broadband infrastructure.
