Léonnie Kandolo is a Congolese politician, human rights activist, and consultant who currently serves as the Minister of Gender, Family and Children in the Suminwa government. Before entering government, she was a prominent civil society leader, notably serving as a spokesperson for the Comité Laïc de Coordination (CLC) during the movement to demand elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Throughout her career, she has been a dedicated advocate for women's rights and child protection, having led the Protection Enfant-sida initiative and served as a permanent cadre for the Concertation de la femme congolaise. Her political work focuses on combating gender-based violence and promoting positive masculinity.
