Lázaro Botelho is a Brazilian politician and businessman who served multiple terms as a federal deputy for the state of Tocantins. Born in 1947, he began his career in local government as a secretary in Araguaína before being elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2006. Throughout his legislative career, he supported the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and voted in favor of the 2017 labor reform. In July 2025, his mandate was declared lost following a Supreme Federal Court decision regarding electoral quotient rules.
