Laura Moodie

Laura Moodie is a Scottish politician who has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the South Scotland region since May 2026. Born in Bradford, England, she moved to Scotland to study history at the University of Edinburgh. Before her election, she worked in publishing, social enterprise, and broadcasting, and served as a communications and operations manager. An active community advocate, she has been involved in local initiatives such as the Borgue Community Council and various charitable organizations in Dumfries and Galloway.
