Lazaros Tsavdaridis is a Greek politician currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Development since March 2025. A member of the New Democracy party, he has represented the Imathia constituency in the Hellenic Parliament since 2007. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Secretary of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group and chair of several parliamentary friendship groups. Before his national parliamentary service, he was a municipal councilor in Veria and served as a prefectural councilor for Imathia, focusing on culture, tourism, and regional development. He holds a degree in law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a postgraduate degree in political science and public law from the Democritus University of Thrace.
