Lee Yang is a Taiwanese politician and former professional badminton player who currently serves as the inaugural Minister of Sports of the Republic of China. Born in Taipei in 1995, he achieved international acclaim as a badminton star, winning consecutive men's doubles gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics alongside his partner Wang Chi-lin. Following his retirement from professional sports in 2024, he transitioned into public service, becoming the youngest government minister in Taiwanese history upon the establishment of the Ministry of Sports in September 2025.
