Leila Benali is a Moroccan politician, engineer, and economist born on April 25, 1978, in Casablanca. Since October 2021, she has served as the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development in the cabinet of Aziz Akhannouch. Prior to her ministerial appointment, she built an extensive career in the energy and finance sectors, working with organizations such as Saudi Aramco, APICORP, and Cambridge Energy Research Associates, as well as contributing to the Special Commission on the Development Model for Morocco.
