Leticia Gonzalez

Leticia Andrea Gonzalez Estigarribia is an Argentinian-Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Caerdydd Penarth constituency. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she moved to London at age 27 before settling in Cardiff. After an unsuccessful bid for the Cardiff Council in 2024, she was elected to the Senedd in the 2026 Welsh Parliament election as a candidate for Plaid Cymru. Her election marked a historic milestone as she became the first Senedd member of South American origin.
