Lieke Sievers

Lieke Sievers is a Dutch administrator and former politician who served as the Mayor of Edam-Volendam from 2016 to 2025. Before entering local government, she had a long career in public safety, working for the national police force and serving as the chair of the safety directorate and fire department commander for the IJsselland safety region. She holds a Master's degree in Crisis and Disaster Management. Following her tenure as mayor, she was named an honorary citizen of Edam-Volendam in 2026.
