Lies Spruit

Lies Spruit is a Dutch politician and former administrator who served as the mayor of Lisse from 2012 until her retirement in June 2025. Before her mayoral career, she was active in local politics in Almere, where she served as a municipal councilor and alderman from 1994 to 2002. Her earlier professional background includes extensive work in social services and community development in Amsterdam and Zaandam. She also held the position of acting mayor of Uithoorn in 2010 and worked in various management roles for several Dutch municipalities.
