
Lillian Aber

Lillian Aber is a Ugandan politician and public administrator currently serving as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kitgum District. In 2024, she was appointed State Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Affairs, a position she was re-appointed to in 2026. A former student leader at Makerere University and past Chairperson of the National Youth Council, Aber has been involved in constitutional review and youth advocacy at both national and international levels. She is also the founder of the Laber Foundation, a charity organization focused on community development in Kitgum.
