Linus Power is an Australian politician currently serving as the member for Logan in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. Born on October 11, 1972, he was first elected to the Queensland Parliament in 2015 and has been re-elected in subsequent state elections. Before entering politics, Power worked as a high school teacher specializing in History, English, and Japanese. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. Inspired to join the Labor Party by the 1992 re-election campaign of former Premier Wayne Goss, Power has served on various parliamentary committees throughout his tenure.
