Lois Kolkhorst

Lois Kolkhorst is an American politician and businesswoman serving as a Republican member of the Texas State Senate, representing the 18th District since 2014. Before her tenure in the Senate, she served seven terms in the Texas House of Representatives. A graduate of Texas Christian University, she previously worked as the president and CEO of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. Throughout her legislative career, she has focused on issues including health and human services, transportation, and rural affairs, and has been a prominent advocate for conservative policies in Texas.
