Lorena Austin

Lorena Austin is an American politician serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 9 since 2022. A fifth-generation Arizonan and native of Mesa, Austin is a non-binary and Native American legislator. Before entering the state legislature, they worked as a project manager for the Maricopa County Community College District. Austin holds a degree from Arizona State University and attended Mesa Community College. In office, they have been noted for their focus on community issues and their efforts to bridge political divides while advocating for gender inclusivity.
