Louis Watum Kabamba is a Congolese politician and engineer currently serving as the Minister of Mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Before his political career, he held significant leadership roles in the mining industry, including as director of operations for Kamoa Copper SA and president of the Chamber of Mines of the DRC. Appointed to the government in 2024, he previously served as the Minister of Industry and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises. He is a graduate of the University of Lubumbashi.
