Lucie Moncion is a Canadian banker and politician who has served as a member of the Senate of Canada since her appointment in October 2016. Representing the province of Ontario, she sits in the Senate as an independent. Prior to her legislative career, Moncion held a prominent role as the president and chief executive officer of the Alliance des caisses populaires de l’Ontario, a network of credit unions serving Northern Ontario. She also served on the boards of several educational and community organizations, including Nipissing University and Collège Boréal.
