Lucy Dathan

Lucy Dathan is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 142nd district which includes parts of New Canaan and Norwalk. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she attended Santa Clara University before building a career in finance as a Certified Public Accountant and chief financial officer, with experience working in Poland and at the London Stock Exchange. Dathan made history in 2018 by becoming the first Democrat to win election in her district, ousting an incumbent Republican. She is affiliated with the Democratic Party and the Working Families Party, focusing her legislative efforts on her background in financial management.
